VSD Audit and Assurance Co., Ltd. was honored to participate in the Cambodia Accounting Forum 2026, held on 4 September 2026 at the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh.
The Forum was held under the theme “Integrating Sustainability Reporting Standards, Policy, and People for Cambodia Economic Resilience.” It was jointly organized by the Accounting and Auditing Regulator (ACAR), the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA), and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
As a significant national platform for Cambodia’s accounting and auditing sector, the Forum brought together government leaders, regulators, development partners, business associations, private-sector representatives, educational institutions, and accounting and auditing professionals.
The discussions focused on the integration of international sustainability reporting standards, national policy priorities, and human-capital development. The Forum also promoted professional knowledge sharing, multi-stakeholder collaboration, regulatory development, and the establishment of a credible and reliable sustainability-reporting ecosystem in Cambodia.
The increasing importance of sustainability-related information represents a significant development in corporate reporting. High-quality sustainability reporting can complement financial reporting by providing stakeholders with relevant information about sustainability-related risks and opportunities that may affect an entity’s prospects, resilience, and long-term value creation.
